About Me
I’m a highly motivated student, athlete, and entrepreneur. I’m currently in Grade 11 and will graduate in June 2027.
I row on my school’s Varsity team and compete in regattas across the Pacific Northwest. In October 2023, my 8+ placed 3rd in the U17 Men’s 8+ at the Tail of the Lake Regatta in Seattle, WA, and in November 2023, we placed 3rd again at the Head of the Lake Regatta. In June 2024, I rowed at the Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association (CSSRA) National Championships in St. Catharines, Ontario, placing 3rd in the Jr. Men’s 4+ and 2nd in the Jr. Men’s 8+. In 2025, both of my boats placed 2nd in the U17 8+ and U17 4+ events at CSSRA Nationals.
Beyond athletics, I’m the co-founder of Dragon Nation Athletic Wear, a student-run streetwear brand that designs and sells limited edition clothing and accessories. All proceeds go to local charities, since 2019, we’ve donated thousands of dollars to the St. George’s School Hamper Drive, an annual initiative supporting families in need across Greater Vancouver. I now serve as a student leader for the Hamper Drive, helping to coordinate fundraising and community outreach.
Academically, I’m passionate about economics, business, and marketing, as I love understanding how ideas grow into successful ventures. My teachers and coaches describe me as driven, focused, and creative, with a good sense of humor and strong leadership skills.
Outside of school, I have a huge interest in street photography. I’m a member of the Vancouver SPC (Street Photography Collective) and have participated in numerous events and exhibitions, with my work showcased in galleries around Vancouver.
On a personal note, I’m also an experienced competitive sailor and soccer player, and I volunteer as both a sailing instructor and youth soccer coach. In early 2024, I went on exchange to Knox Grammar School in Sydney, Australia.
Finally, I’m bilingual in Swedish and English.
